Introducing Team Medieval!

For most of Medieval Realms’ history, I’ve largely been running and developing the project myself, with help and contributions from people in the community along the way.

That is now changing.

I’m very pleased to announce the formation of Team Medieval, with Bamse as Developer and Ozorvals (Oz) as Community Moderator.

Both have been part of Medieval Realms for many years, and both already know the server, the community, and the direction the project has been heading. More importantly, they are not simply taking on individual roles — both will be involved in helping plan and shape the future of Medieval Realms as the project continues to grow.

YAHWHO — FOUNDER & lead Developer

Medieval Realms has been my project from the beginning. Over the years, I’ve been responsible for its development, day-to-day running and overall direction, working closely with the community to help it grow into what it is today. Its identity has been shaped by countless ideas and contributions from our players.

As Founder and Lead Developer, I’ll continue to guide the project, lead development of its systems and shape the ideas that carry it forward. Alongside Bamse and Oz, I’ll help give Medieval Realms strong foundations for the future while preserving the character and community that made it what it is.

Bamse — Developer

Bamse has contributed far beyond simply playing Medieval Realms. A great deal of the work behind our public map is his, and more recently he has been helping with development, testing and bug fixes behind the scenes.

As a Developer, Bamse will work alongside me on the Medieval Realms codebase, helping to build and improve the systems that make up the project. He will also play an important role in planning its technical direction, bringing his knowledge of the server and its community to the decisions we make and helping turn ambitious ideas into reliable features our players can enjoy.

Ozorvals — Community MODERATOR

Oz has been part of Medieval Realms for many years and knows the community extremely well. During that time, he has built strong relationships with our players and developed a genuine understanding of what makes the community special.

As Community Moderator, Oz will support and represent our players, strengthen the connection between the community and Team Medieval, and help keep Medieval Realms the friendly and welcoming place we want it to be. He will also play an instrumental role in planning and shaping the direction we take, ensuring the community’s perspective remains at the heart of the project’s future.

A personal note from Yahwho

I’ve known both Bamse and Oz for a very long time, and I’m very pleased that the three of us are now formally bringing these roles together as Team Medieval.

Please give them both a well-deserved welcome.

Bamse and Oz — welcome to Team Medieval!
